Month Names and Their Usage

Hi friends! Today, we'll learn German month names and their usage. It's quite simple!

All German month names, like Januar (January) or März (March), are always masculine. This means they use the definite article der, for example, der Januar.

To say 'in' a specific month, we use the word im, which is a short form of 'in dem'. For instance, if your birthday is in March, you'd say 'Mein Geburtstag ist im März'. Another example is 'Ich komme im Januar' (I'm coming in January). Practicing these will help you master them quickly!
